School In A Perfect World

For me, school is okay. Like most kids in middle school, I'm not a huge fan of the education and the learning aspect of school. But I love the social part of it. I love my friends and I honestly don't know where I would be without them. School is a great get-away from home, but it's not perfect.

If I could create a perfect school, or modify the middle school, I would change quite a few things. To start off, I ould make online classes available. It's not fair how if you go on vacation, or family things, or really anything, how you have a bunch to make-up without knowing what your missing. So many kids fall behind in their classes beacause of this. I especially, fall behind in math and don't understand how to do any of it when i get back.

This leads into my next thing that I would change; having teachers available at all times. I think that kids are often to nervous to ask for help in front of other kids because they are scared that they will feel stupid. Students, including myslef, are a lot more comfortable asking questions one-on-one with a teacher, so I think that they schould have this option rather than just pretending to understand then failing.

So, my next thing is the times in the classes and in between classes. I don't think that we get enough time inbetween classes. We get, like what... Four minutes? The hallways are crowded, the lockers are hard to open, and the class rooms area scattered all aroud the school. It takes longer than four minutes for some people to get from class to class.

One last thing I will say for a perfect school, is no homework. I did the math. We are here for a little over six hours. We do our work, and we go from class to class. Then, we go home and do more work. I don't htink that is fair. Especially for people who have after school activities. A lot of kids have sports, music related things, girl scouts, that sort of thing. And that takes up a lot of our already busy day spent at school. Then there is the whole aspect of sleep. Kids say sleep isn't important. the adults in our lives come back with saying sleep is a VERY important thing. They teach us in school that sleep is super important tnd that we need to get at lease 8-9 hours every night. Then they pile homework on us. I think that whatever we didn't finish that day, should just be carried on into the next days class.

So, those are my ideas for a perfect school. (:

This is one of my favorite quotes of all time. It's from the movie Perks Of Being A Wallflower. When I watched it, I cried. I NEVER cry when I watch movies, but this one broke me. It was so sad but happy at the same time. So.... If you haven't seen it, go watch it as soon as you get home. Okay? Okay. Well, what I was originally saying, is that I love this quote, so yeah (:

I really like this tattoo. I have been wanting it for a while, and I plan on getting it as soon as I can. That will either be eighteen, or maybe sooner if my mom will let me. (Which will most likely not happen) I am not getting it on my back, it will be on my foot, but I couldn't find any pictures with it on someones foot. So... Yeah (:

I like this because it is true. At some point, everything that you thought that would be there foever will be gone. You will move on in your life, and things will change; sometines for the better, and sometimes for the worse. Your frinds will go to different schools, and meet different people. You will eventually move away from your family, and you guys will grow apart. For your love life, the person you are with now is most likely not the person you will spend forever with. For those few lucky people, it will be. <3 But for now, cherich the moments you have with those special people. Your closest friends won;t be so close anymore, so make memories that will never die. Just because you are "too cool" to spend time with your family, just means when you get older you will regret all the times that you blew them off.

So while you are young, spnd time with the people that matter most to you. Don't leave your family out of everything you do. Have as much fun as you can, and don't regret anything. Live your life to the fullest, and make memories you will never forget. Tke chances that you never thought you would. People say "Iregret more of what i didn't do, then what I did." So don't be one of those people! You get one life. Make it worth something. <3

I believe that there is always a reason to happy.

Every day, we go to school. We all have our friends, or groups we are a part of. You know your friends for the most part. You can usually tell what they are feeling. But what about all those other people you dont really know? All the girls that are smiling, and laughing, and happy all the time. You just naturally assume that they have a perfect life. And all the boys that play sports and are always doing what they love, and smiling. What im trying to say, is do you actually know what is going on in their life? Or are you just judging by how you see them on the out side?

Take yourself for example. How many times have you had a horrible morning, but still go to school smiling? Some people's whole life is like this, but they still manage to be happy. They laugh and smile through it all. They find something they love, and let that take all the pain away. I guess im trying to say, is that there is always a reason to be happy, no matter what you are going through.

I believe that you can always find something too make you happy. I believe that all you have to do, is  find something you enjoy and let that take away all your troubles. Find something you are passionate about and let that control all the negative things in your life. Be around people who always make you happy, and who you know care about you.

Okay, well that's what i believe (:

Hey Guys (: Go look at all these amazing blogs! >>>>>>
             Great Thanks <3

I am really happy that we picked the theme Neverland. I think it is the perfect dance to wrap up our eighth grade year. It is the first formal dance before high school, so it should be special! Who wants to grow up? That's what Neverland is all about; not having to grow up. It's about being a kid, and enjoying your childhood while you still have it (: I think it it's the best choice that we have, and if we do a good job setting it up, it will be amazing. I imagine lots of colors, beautiful decorations, and all the magical aspects of Neverland (:
