I love music. It's an escape from everything. There is always a song or a line of lyrics that describes how you feel. Music is the things you cant say. It's the feeling you didn't know you had. It can clear everything up, or can make you realize things that make everything so much more complicated. It lets me turn off the world and just relax and calm down.
Life runs you low. It's true. Things get hard, and you get run down and tired and just need to take a breath. With the busy lives I know everyone has, not just me, music lets me breath. For me, it gives me a new perspective on things, and like I said before, can help me realize things that I didn't before.

High School Advice
So, I went and asked my mom for some advice on high school. We are going to be freshman next year, and it seems scary! Here is some advice she gave me.
Get involved! She told me that you regret more of what you don't do, so take chances! Stand out and do what you love instead of just being invisible. Stand out and be yourself. It can be really scary and all the big kids can be pretty intimidating, but don't let that stop you from being yourself. Don't try to blend in, but try to let people know who you are and do what YOU like and want instead of letting other people control you.
She also said that although this might be cheesy or weird, but get to know your teachers. If you talk to them and get them on your good side, then high school is a little easier with the whole homework aspect. They might get to know you and your strengths and weaknesses, and will be able to work with that and help you through it a little more.
Another thing that she said helps, is to have goals. It's hard to stay on track in high school, and you can get distracted and get off track so if you have goals, it will be easier to stick to them and get through. If you have a few goals, then you will be able to track your progress and also will be able to tell when you get behind.
One last piece of advice she gave me, is keep a journal. I'm not saying write down every little thing that happens to you, but if you keep track of the important things and how you feel when thing happen, it will be nice to have something to look back at to remember those four years. She told me that she doesn't remember too much, and if she kept a journal, she would have loved to be able to go back and remember things for when she gets old and cant remember.
Well, those are some pieces of advice (:
